We collect your email address for authentication. When you apply to communities, we collect the information you provide (name, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and any custom fields). We store your saves and notes as part of the Service.
Date of birth. We ask for it once, when you create an account or the first time you apply to join a community, to check you are 18 or over. We keep the date and the day you gave it. It is never shown to other members, to community administrators, or on your public profile. It is deleted with your account, though backups are kept for 90 days.
Your information is used to provide the Service: authenticating your account, displaying your saves, processing community applications, and enabling community administrators to manage their members.
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
We use a small number of third-party providers to run BeMyBrain: cloud hosting, database and authentication, transactional email, and error monitoring. They process data only to provide those services to us. We can tell you who they are on request.
We do not sell your personal data. Community application data is shared only with the community administrator you applied to. Your saves are private and visible only to you.
You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting support@bemybrain.app, and you can ask us at the same address for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
